Why buy from Container Direct LVP
Do not pay for a showroom. See the price before you buy.
A flooring store pays for a building, a sales floor, and sales staff. These costs are added to your price. We sell online instead. Our floors come from distribution partners with stock in Florida warehouses, and every price per square foot and per box is on the page. Preview a floor in your own room with our visualizer. Make sure with a $4.99 sample at your door. Then approve a written delivered quote before anything is charged.
The old way
Visit a showroom, talk to a commissioned salesperson, and get the freight number at the very end.

Answers to common questions
Where can I buy luxury vinyl plank flooring in Florida?
Container Direct LVP Flooring sells luxury vinyl plank online. The stock sits in our distribution partners' Florida warehouses in Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando, and we deliver to all of Florida. We show the price of each floor: every floor runs $1.59 to $2.49 per square foot. There is no quote wall and no showroom.
How does Container Direct LVP price its flooring?
We source through distribution partners with stock already in Florida, and we publish the per-square-foot and per-box price of every floor. We do not operate a showroom or a commissioned sales floor. Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes anywhere in Florida (500 sq ft minimum), and nothing is charged until you approve the written quote.
How much does LVP cost per square foot?
Our material costs $1.59 to $2.49 per square foot. Each product page shows the price. Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes. In Florida, installation usually adds $2 to $4 per square foot.
Is luxury vinyl plank waterproof enough for Florida?
Yes. Each floor we stock has a rigid SPC core. The core does not absorb water. It moves very little with heat or humidity. Water on the surface will not cause the planks to swell, unlike laminate or engineered wood. But a floating floor is not a sealed membrane. In a bathroom, seal the edges of the floor behind the trim.
What wear layer do I need?
The wear layer is the clear top surface. It is measured in mils. It protects the printed image from grit. Our floors have 20 to 22 mil wear layers. A 12 mil layer is good for bedrooms and light traffic. A 20 mil layer is good for a family kitchen. 28 of our floors have a 22 mil layer. Specify 22 mil for pets, children, or light commercial use.
Do I need underlayment?
Usually you do not. Every floor we stock has an IXPE pad attached to the back. A second pad below the floor makes it too soft. That puts stress on the locking joints and voids most warranties. On a concrete slab, add a 6 mil vapor barrier.
Can I see a floor before I buy it?
Yes, in two ways. First, use the free visualizer to preview each floor in a photo of your own room. It shows the plank at real scale in your light. Then order labeled samples at $4.99 each. Examine your top choice at home, in daylight and at night.
Do you deliver across Florida?
Yes. We ship curbside to all of Florida from our distribution partners' warehouses in Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando. Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes, liftgate included, with a 500 sq ft minimum order. One box covers 18.8 to 30.2 square feet. The calculator finds the number of boxes you need and the cost.
