How we started
A short company with a simple argument
Container Direct LVP was formed in January 2026. We are not going to dress that up as a decade of heritage — but the reason the company exists is worth two minutes of your time, because it is the reason the prices look the way they do.
The argument
Four margins between the mill and your living room
A plank of luxury vinyl leaves a factory at a price that would surprise you. By the time it reaches a showroom floor it has been marked up by an importer, a national distributor, a regional distributor and the showroom itself. Every one of them is entitled to their margin. None of them changed the plank.
Then, at the end, you get quoted freight as a separate line — after you have already picked a colour and are too far in to walk away over it.
Container Direct buys the container. We hold it in three Florida warehouses. You get the mill price for the plank and a freight number quoted against your own ZIP, both shown to you before you approve anything. That is the entire business model, and everything else on this site follows from it: the $4.99 sample that comes off your order, the visualizer that runs free in your browser, the specs published on an open page with no form in front of them.
Why this matters to you: the saving is in the plank, not in a freight number we have massaged. Holding stock in Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando is what keeps the delivery leg short, and you see that leg priced before you commit rather than after.
Year one
What we have built so far
-
Container Direct LVP LLC is formed
Filed in Florida on 12 January 2026, single member, headquartered in Miami. The whole idea fits in a sentence: buy full containers from the mills, warehouse them here, and sell direct — with the freight quoted openly against your ZIP instead of buried in someone else's markup.
-
Three warehouses, not one
Jacksonville, Miami and Orlando. One warehouse in Miami would have meant a Panhandle customer paying for a truck to drive the length of the state. Three positions means most of Florida is a short lane, which is the only reason flat-rate delivered pricing works at all.
-
The catalogue opens up
Alongside our own house brand we brought in Ellie Flooring, Brothers and Evo Lux — 76 floors across 11 collections, every one of them a rigid SPC core with IXPE backing already bonded on, and every one in stock rather than on order.
-
Same-day samples
$4.99 a sample, out the door the same day if you order before 2 PM, and the money comes off your order when you buy. Nobody should have to commit to a floor from a photograph on a screen.
-
The room visualizer goes live
Photograph your actual room, and the real plank texture gets laid into it — running in your browser, on your device, free. It was the single most requested thing from people who were close to ordering and could not quite picture it.
Where we are now
Small enough that you get a person
Call (786) 723-7407 and you reach somebody who knows what is on the shelf in Orlando this week. That is not a call-centre script — it is just what a company this size is like, and we would rather lean into it than pretend otherwise.
It also means we cannot afford an unhappy customer. Every policy on this site — the 48-hour damage window, the six-month defect cover, the refusal to let you refuse a shipment and lose your claim — exists because getting it right the first time is cheaper for us than getting it wrong.
