Collier County, Florida
Luxury vinyl plank flooring in Naples
Naples orders cross Alligator Alley from our distribution partner's Miami warehouse, about 125 miles on I-75, into a market where more of our conversations are with an association than with a homeowner.
What Naples homes usually need
Collier County is condo and HOA country. The buildings along the Gulf and the communities inland almost all have a written flooring rule: an IIC or STC minimum, sometimes a list of approved underlayments, sometimes a ban on hard floors above the first level without both. A large share of owners are seasonal, which means the house is closed and the thermostat is set high for four months of the year, and the floor has to tolerate that.
So the order here is: association rules first, then a floor whose documentation covers them, then color. On the seasonal question, a rigid stone core with the expansion gap left at every wall is the floor that comes back in October looking the way it did in May; the heat and humidity guide explains why heat, not humidity, is what moves a vinyl floor.
Nearly every floor we stock is the extra-long XL 9"x60" format. Not sure where to buy? Read the Florida waterproof LVP buyer’s guide.
How delivery to Naples works
Naples ships from Miami, where we hold APRES, GRAND LUX SOFT (GD), IRIS, IRIS 8, WHISPER WOODS (34 floors), across the Alley in around two and a half hours. Gated communities and Marco Island addresses get the same flat $300 per pallet; the carrier needs the gate code or a gatehouse contact, and island deliveries should mention the bridge and any HOA truck hours. Curbside with a liftgate; arrange help to carry boxes in.
Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes, 500 sq ft minimum order: 1 to 2 business days to pick and ship after payment clears, then 4 to 8 business days in transit, curbside on a pallet with a liftgate. The delivery checklist covers the day itself.
Floors we would put down in Naples
| Collection | Thickness / wear layer | Per sq ft | Ships from | Why it fits Naples |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| IRIS 8 (5 colors) | 8mm / 22mil | $2.49 | Miami | 8 mm and 22 mil with the attached pad: the floor we would put in front of a Collier association first |
| WHISPER WOODS (9 colors) | 8mm / 22mil | $2.49 | Miami | The same 8 mm, 22 mil spec in 9 colors, for owners who want a specific tone in a large great room |
| APRES (8 colors) | 7mm / 22mil | $2.19 | Miami | 7 mm, 22 mil, at a lower price for a ground-floor unit or a house without a sound rule |
Every floor we stock is a waterproof SPC rigid core, 5 to 8 mm, 20 or 22 mil, with an IXPE pad attached. Prices are per square foot as published on each floor page; the calculator turns your square footage into boxes.
Questions we get from Naples
- My Naples association wants an IIC rating. Which floors meet it?
- Send us the number and the building's wording. We check the floor's documentation against it rather than guessing, and if the paperwork does not cover the rating or it needs a separate acoustic underlayment under the plank, we will say so.
- Is it safe to install before the house is closed up for the summer?
- Yes, if the air conditioning keeps running while you are away and the expansion gap was left at every wall and fixed object. A closed house set to 80 or 82 degrees is fine; a house with the system off is not, for any floor.
- Do you deliver to Marco Island and Bonita Springs?
- Yes. Marco Island, Bonita Springs, Estero and Golden Gate Estates all get the same flat $300 per pallet from the Miami partner warehouse. Mention gate hours or bridge restrictions when you ask.
