Fort Lauderdale is about 30 miles up I-95 from our distribution partner's Miami warehouse, which makes it the second-fastest market we serve and the one with the most managed buildings per square mile.
What Fort Lauderdale homes usually need
Broward's stock splits between waterfront and downtown condos with a management office between you and the loading dock, and the post-war single-family neighborhoods west of US-1 where the floor is a slab with tile or terrazzo on it. Managed buildings want a delivery window, a carrier certificate of insurance and, for anything above the ground floor, the association's sound specification met on paper.
The practical order of operations is: get the building's flooring rules in writing, send them to us with your square footage, and choose the color last. For a house, measure the height at the front door and the sliders before deciding whether the old tile stays down; the over-tile guide has the math.

How delivery to Fort Lauderdale works
Most Fort Lauderdale orders ship from Miami, where we hold APRES, GRAND LUX SOFT (GD), IRIS, IRIS 8, WHISPER WOODS: 34 floors, about an hour away. Managed buildings: give us the receiving address (it is not always the street address), the dock hours and whether the carrier needs to book a window. Curbside means the curb; arrange who carries boxes to the unit.
Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes, 500 sq ft minimum order: 1 to 2 business days to pick and ship after payment clears, then 4 to 8 business days in transit, curbside on a pallet with a liftgate. The delivery checklist covers the day itself.

- How far in advance does a Fort Lauderdale condo delivery need to be booked?
- Ask your management office how far ahead the dock and elevator can be reserved, then request your quote with that date. The carrier will call to confirm a window inside it.

- What if the association requires a specific underlayment?
- Send us the requirement. Every floor we stock has an IXPE pad attached; if the board wants a tested rating above that, we will check the floor's documentation and tell you plainly whether it needs a separate acoustic layer.
