Duval County, Florida
Luxury vinyl plank flooring in Jacksonville
Jacksonville is the largest city by area in the country and our distribution partner's northern warehouse is inside it, which is why the typical order here is bigger than anywhere else: whole houses on large lots, with long open runs.
What Jacksonville homes usually need
Duval and St. Johns stock is mostly single-storey slab houses on generous lots, from the 1980s neighborhoods of the Southside and Mandarin to the new construction in Nocatee, Oakleaf and the Westside. Open plans with a 40 or 50 foot line of sight from the front door to the lanai are common, and that is the one place a floating floor's maximum run length actually gets tested: past the limit on the installation sheet, a T-mold splits the field so each section can move on its own.
The other regular here is the military family at NAS Jacksonville or Mayport flooring a house they will rent out when orders come, which is a rental spec decision in a primary home. The rental guide covers that; for the long runs, the installation guide covers direction and staggering.
Nearly every floor we stock is the extra-long XL 9"x60" format. Not sure where to buy? Read the Florida waterproof LVP buyer’s guide.
How delivery to Jacksonville works
The Jacksonville partner warehouse holds XD-5.5mm, XD6 B Series, XD8 Series, so 12 floors ship from inside Duval County and the rest come up from Orlando. St. Augustine, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra and Nocatee get the same flat $300 per pallet; so do Gainesville and Ocala, on the same route down I-75 and I-10.
Delivery is a flat $300 per pallet of 42 boxes, 500 sq ft minimum order: 1 to 2 business days to pick and ship after payment clears, then 4 to 8 business days in transit, curbside on a pallet with a liftgate. The delivery checklist covers the day itself.

Questions we get from Jacksonville
- My great room is 45 feet long. Do I need a transition strip?
- Check the maximum run length on the floor's installation sheet. Past it, a T-mold splits the run so each side can expand on its own. Matching T-molds are stocked for most of our floors, and the expansion gap at every wall still applies.
- Do you deliver to St. Augustine, Orange Park and Nocatee?
- Yes, all of Duval, Clay and St. Johns from the Jacksonville partner warehouse, at the same flat $300 per pallet: St. Augustine, Orange Park, Fleming Island, Ponte Vedra, Nocatee and Fernandina Beach. Gainesville and Ocala are the same flat rate.
- We are military and may rent the house out later. Does that change the floor?
- Choose as if it were a rental now: a 20 mil wear layer minimum, a mid-tone color, and two spare boxes kept from the same dye lot. It costs little more than a homeowner spec and saves a re-floor when the tenants arrive.
